WHAT:

Discover the joyful meditative practice of slow-stitched coiled weaving with proud Wiradjuri woman, Rechelle Turner. This traditional practice is undergoing a revival; share with Rechelle as she yarns about her cultural journey and you kick start your own! Using raffia, Rechelle will help you to master; making a centre, and growing and shaping your own coiled piece that you to take home.

Learn step by step the basic weaving and coil weaving techniques. And while you are making, enjoy the wonderful music by Tahalianna Soward-Mahanga. All materials will be provided and enjoy a complimentary drink on arrival.
